The flood situation in Assam continues to remain critical. Several parts of Assam including urban and rural parts of various districts are completely submerged in flood water. The Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) are carring out rescue operations in the flood-hit areas in the state.
