Ragging allegations surfaced at Utkal University in Vani Vihar on Friday (Nov 26) after some first year IMBA students alleged that they were harassed by some senior students of the university.
Reports stated that some first year IMBA students alleged that they were stripped naked and ragged inside the hostel premises by their seniors.
However, the allegations triggered sharp reactions on the campus premises leading to a clash between junior and senior students.
Several vehicles were ransacked during the clash. The complaint students gheraoed the Vice-Chancellor’s office as a mark of protest on Friday.
