Superfood! Red Weaver Ants Chutney Targets GI Tag

Mayurbhanj’s indigenous red weaver ant chutney has been pushed for GI (Geographical indications) tag. The tribals have been consuming red ant based delicacies for ages and have evolved the recipe over the years. The scientists have addressed a letter to Ministry of Ayush for the GI registry of the superfood ‘Kai Chutney’.
