Students Stuck Amid Russia-Ukraine Conflict; Parents Worried

With pain in her voice and tears in eyes, this worried mother hopes that his son, who is studying in Ukraine, would return back to her safely. Their son Suraj Biswas from Ganjam is currently pursuing his medical studies in Ukraine.

The news of Ukrainian President predicting an attack by Russia has made Suraj’s parents lose their sleep. They have been regularly in contact Suraj, who resides in Kharkiv, which is bordering state.

Though the parents heaved a sigh after knowing that Suraj was safe, they are continuously monitoring the situation on TV.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Indian Embassy in Kyiv issued advisory for all national, especially students to leave the country temporarily citing ‘uncertainties of the current situation’
