Several Persons Killed In Odisha In Separate Road Accidents

As many as five persons were killed in three separate road accidents in Odisha on Wednesday. Late last night, 3 people who were travelling on a motorcycle were killed after being hit by a speeding truck near Sabaranga chhak in Bhadrak. One of them died at the spot while two others succumbed to injuries during treatment at hospital.

The trio was returning from work when the mishap took place. In another unfortunate mishap in Jajpur district, one person died while two others sustained critical injuries following head-on collision between a bike and vegetable-laden auto-rickshaw near Kianali chhak under Town Police limits.

Meanwhile in Kandhamal district, an elderly man was killed after being hit by an unknown vehicle near Paburia in Baliguda. Traffic movement was disrupted on G.Udayagiri, Tikabali, Raikia and Sarangada routes as locals stage a road blockade demanding compensation for the kin of the deceased.
