OTV Correspondent Manoj Patra Passes Away, Medical Negligence & Misdiagnosis Alleged

OTV’s Rayagada district correspondent, Manoj Patra (55) passed away on Tuesday during treatment at MKCG Hospital in Berhampur. Following his death, Manoj’s relatives alleged that he died due to medical negligence. They claimed that the doctors have misdiagnosed Manoj’s medical condition and neglected him during treatment.

They said, Manoj was admitted to MKCG hospital after he fell sick last night. Several doctors visited Manoj in between 9PM last night and Tuesday morning. This morning, a lady doctor came for an inspection and said Manoj was doing fine following which he was taken home.

However after reaching home, he suddenly fell unconscious at around 10AM and was again rushed to MKCG. The doctors present there pronounced him dead, said his relatives.
