Air Health Services
The Odisha government on Monday launched Air Health Services for four districts of the state where medical services are inaccessible. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the Mukhyamantri Bayu Swasthya Seva (Air Health Services) at the Biju Patnaik International Airport.
As per reports, the services will be available in remote areas of Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur and Nuapada, respectively.
The service was launched with an aim to ensure prompt ambulance service in inaccessible regions where quality healthcare is not available. In such areas, critical patients can be airlifted to various healthcare facilities in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Doctors will also visit patients in remote and inaccessible areas through air health services.
