BJP MLA from Keonjhar Sadar constituency, Mohan Majhi had a narrow escape when some unidentified miscreants on Sunday (October 10) hurled crude bombs at the legislator’s vehicle and fled the scene. As per reports, the bombing took place when Majhi was returning after attending a public meeting. On the way, two bike-borne people approached their car and hurled two bombs at the vehicle.
Irate over the incident, BJP workers staged demonstration by blocking roads. They alleged that police who are incharge of law and order situation in the district, did not provide any protection to the legislator.

Demanding the removal of the two ministers- Minister of State for Home Dibya Shankar Mishra and State Law Minister Pratap Jena—the NCPCR Chairperson said, “If we feel, there are anomalies in the report submitted by the State Government, we will definitely send a team. However, the CM should think and remove the ministers so that a fair probe can be ensured in the case,” She stated.
