Odisha Banch: Protesters Faceoff With Police As Over 40 Persons Detained in Bhubaneswar

Amid protests during Odisha Bandh (strike), scuffle was reported between agitators and police in laxmi Sagar chhak, Bhubaneswar.40 persons including president of Naba Nirman Yuva Chhatra Sangathan were detained following face-off with police. Protesters are demanding justice for the BJB girl student Ruchika Mohanty who died by suicide allegedly due to seniors ragging.
