This Odisha journalist has made it to the Limca Book of Records as many as five times for having the largest collection of newspapers. Shashanka Shekhar Das, a resident of Bari in Jajpur district, has collected newspapers in 94 different languages from 142 countries in a span of 21 years. Recently on the occasion of Press Day, Shashanka displayed his wide range of collections at a special programme in Rourkela.
Holder of Guinness World Records, the 'Paper Man Of India' has collected more than 10,000 newspapers till date, 4952 of which are different and diverse in nature. Shashanka also has the largest foreign newspaper collection with close to 700 newspapers in around 50 different languages.
