In a tragic incident, a woman and her newborn died at a government hospital in Odisha. As per family members, the woman died of medical negligence at Jharsuguda District Headquarters hospital on Tuesday (September 21).
The family members also alleged that the newborn also died due to mishandling as the baby slipped and fell from the medical staff’s hand. The victim woman has been identified as Sunita Behera, a resident of Naksapalli village of the district. As per reports, Sunita was admitted in the hospital on Monday (September 20).
Meanwhile, the concerned administration said that proper inquiry is underway and actions will be taken if found guilty.
