Mamita Murder Case: BJP Observes 12-Hour Bandh Demanding Minister’s Arrest

The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has been demanding the dismissal and arrest of Odisha Home Minister, Dibya Shankar Mishra, over his alleged links in the sensational Mamita Meher murder.

The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has been demanding the dismissal and arrest of Odisha Home Minister, Dibya Shankar Mishra, over his alleged links in the sensational Mamita Meher murder.

The saffron party on Saturday (Oct 30), observed a 12-hour-long bandh from 6 AM to 6 PM in several districts including Boudh, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Balasore and Deogarh. BJP also launched a 6-hour bandh in Bhadrak district.

However, essenital servics were exempted in the protest. The party also intends to gherao the SP offices in both Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, demanding strict action against the concerned minister.
