Justice For Mamita: Congress Calls For Janta Curfew In Odisha District

Protesting Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s upcoming visit to Kalahandi, senior Congress leader Bhakta Das has called for ‘Janta Curfew’ in the district on November 8 to seek justice for murdered lady teacher Mamita Meher.

Protesting Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s upcoming visit to Kalahandi, senior Congress leader Bhakta Das has called for ‘Janta Curfew’ in the district on November 8 to seek justice for murdered lady teacher Mamita Meher.

Das has also urged people of Kalahandi to observe two minutes silence at 11 am on November 7 and pray for the peace of the departed soul.

Das alleged that the state government is trying to shield the culprits in top positions. For him, such ceaseless protests will force the government to take strict action and bring the real culprits to the book.
