House Catches Fire, 2 Critically Injured

A major fire had broken out at a house in Khaiparasi village under Dhenkanal’s Parjang Police Station Limits in which a father-son duo had sustained critical injuries. Reports informed that the injured were shifted to Kamakhyanagar Hospital for treatment while the Parjang Fire Services Personnel had doused the inferno. The fire was suspected to be caused due to an electric short circuit causing much damage to valuable items which led to the villagers demanding monetary compensation from the government for the affected family.
