Due to rainfall deficit, locals are performing traditional ritual of ‘benga nacha’ or frog dance to appease the rain gods.
As per traditions, Keonjhar residents worship frog or steal water from neighbouring district(s) and offer it to the deities.
It is believed that such rituals will bring rainfall in abundance.
