Elephant Herd Wreaks Havoc In Odisha, Damages Crops & Houses

A herd of wild elephants has been wreaking havoc in several villages of Odisha’s Keonjhar district. The herd from Thakurmunda Range ventured into Patna Block leaving locals in a state of panic. The elephants damaged the crops and destroyed several houses. Fire torches are being used by the locals to drive away the elephants and keep them away from human habitation.
