Elephant Calf ‘Turns Turtle’ In Mud, Rescued By Forest Personnel

A video showing baby elephant’s plight in the mud has surfaced from Badajharana forest under Kuchinda Wildlife Sanctuary in Sambalpur. As per reports, the calf had slipped and injured itself after coming to the area to drink water.

A video showing baby elephant’s plight in the mud has surfaced from Badajharana forest under Kuchinda Wildlife Sanctuary in Sambalpur. As per reports, the calf had slipped and injured itself after coming to the area to drink water. Locals then informed the Forest department officials, who launched a rescue operation to save the calf. After much effort, the forest personnel with the help of villagers successfully rescued the calf.
