DART | How NASA Is Planning To Defend Earth Against Asteroids

NASA is launching its first Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) targeting an asteroid. A NASA spacecraft is set to smash into an asteroid (posing no threat to earth) early on Tuesday. The Test will be carried out to test a technology to defend Earth against potential asteroid or comet hazards in future.
