Cyclone Jawad Effect: Quintals Of Fish Go To Waste

These are quintals of fish strewn across the beach and rotting in rain near Chilika, under Krushnaprasad, Puri. They were netted in one bumper catch couple of days back. However, with no takers, it’s all dumped on the shores waiting to get washed away by the tides. Fishermen say that the unexpected onset of cyclone Jawad resulted in such loss.
