Tapaswini Dash aka Dimple’s fight for justice continues. Post marital dispute with legally wedded husband Sumit Sahu, Dimple’s dharna outside in-laws’ house in Berhampur entered ninth day on Tuesday. The case is still pending with the SDJM Court. In its earlier hearing, the Court had reportedly asked Tapaswini to stay at Sakhi Centre till further notice.
On November 22, a high drama unfolded in Brahma Nagar of the silk city when Tapaswini staged a sit-in outside Sumit’s house alleging him of deserting her on the wedding day. However, she also claimed that they both have been legally married in a court but were staying apart following a dispute.
On the other hand, Sumit has accepted that both of them are legally married but he said that no such marriage was fixed on the said date. Tapaswini had filed a harassment case against him and his family which reportedly prompted him to file a divorce petition in September this year.
