For the last one week, the KBN or ‘Koi Bhai Nahi’ gang in Bhubaneswar is under the police scanner after videos showing them with sharp weapons and guns went viral.
Now, similar set of videos have surfaced on the internet, this time from Cuttack, wherein another group is brandishing weapons in public places.
As per reports, the videos were filmed at the Taladanda Canal area in Cuttack. These videos, which purportedly show a group of youths abusing and flaunting several weapons, have gone viral on several social media platforms.
Cuttack Police has launched an investigation into the matter. This morning, three youths deposed before Malgodown police station for interrogation.
It is to be noted that the Commissionerate Police has launched an operation to nab the 29 members of the KBN group, against whom several cases have been registered. So far, nine members have been arrested. The youths have been booked for allegedly sharing videos showing them brandishing sharp weapons, using hookah, flaunting firearms and dancing in the middle of the road.
Following an investigation, sources in police revealed that the gang had shared the videos to create panic among businessmen, parking lot vendors, contractors, and others.
