32 Gharial Hatchlings Washed Away In Mahanadi Floodwater

As many as 32 gharial crocodile hatchlings are feared to have been washed away from Satkosia gorge in the Mahanadi River floodwater. The incident has given rise to concern among wildlife enthusiasts, environmentalists and locals about safety of the gharials.
