Twins Born With In Minutes, Separated By A Year

A stroke of midnight that split minutes into a year. 

When the world calmly set its foot into 2022, a set of twins in California set their foot on this world. However, in a bizarre coincidence, the stroke of midnight came right in between their birth. Though the twins were born within minutes, they got separated by a year.

In this happy and rare event, Fatima Madrigal gave birth to twins (a boy & a girl) just 15 minutes apart but the stroke of midnight in between. The boy, Alfredo Antonio was born around 11:45 pm on 31 December 2021, and his sister Aylin was born exactly on midnight on January 1, 2022.

The elated mother of the twins said that she is happy that her babies have different birthdays.

Sharing a picture of the twin siblings, the Natividad Medical Center, where the twins were born, said that the birth was a '1 in a 2 million chance'.
