IAF's famed Mirage aircrafts joined an air exercise in UK for first time since induction. Mirage 2000 jets participated in multi-national exercise 'Cobra Warrior 2023' at Waddington. IAF has sent 5 Mirage-2000, two C-17 Globemaster-III & a IL-78 mid-air refueling jet to the drill. Mirage, India's frontier fighter jets stunned the world with Balakot airstrikes in Pakistan in 2019. India has upgraded its entire Mirage fleet with advanced avionics, weapons & self-protection suites. Belgium, US, Finland and Saudi Arabia are participating in the Royal Air Force-hosted air exercise.
