11-Ft Tall Ganesh Idol Crafted From 70 Kg Of Neem Bark In Surat | Ganesh Chaturthi 2024

A team of youngsters in Surat have built a 11-ft idol of Ganesh using 70 kg of neem bark to celebrate Ganesh Puja.
The idol, built by 10 artisans, weighs about 600 kg and was built in a period of 35 to 40 days.
Apart from neem, grass and soil, no chemicals were used anywhere.
The main motive was to create awareness about the importance of trees and plants.
