Watch: Cobra Rescued from Car Bonnet In Odisha’s Pipili

Gopal Chandra Panda of Bagheswarpur village in Pipili area was fortunate enough to have survived the snake bite after he found a snake hiding on the left side of his car’s bonnet.

There is always a probability for a fatal blow to humans when snakes find unusual spots to  hide. Gopal Chandra Panda of Bagheswarpur village in Pipili area was fortunate enough to have survived the snake bite.

Recently, Gopal found a snake hiding on the left side of his car’s bonnet.It was a 4 ft long cobra. Upon discovering the cobra, Panda immediately contacted the snake helpline members.

A snake helpline member soon reached the spot and rescued the snake. The snake was then released into the wild, in an isolated area far away from the village.

Sushant Behera from Snake Helpline said, "In the evening, I received a call from Gopal of Pipili’s Bagheshwarpur village who said that a cobra was hiding in his car. After I reached the spot, I saw that the snake had entered the bonnet of the car. I rescued the snake and later released it in an isolated place away from human habitation."
