Want Simultaneous Panchayat & Civic Body Polls In Odisha: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday (Aug 19) said that they have proposed the Odisha government & the State Election Commission to conduct Panchayat elections and Civic body polls together in the state. The Minister informed the same while he was on a visit to the Srimandir in Puri along with Union Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw. Pradhan stated if the elections are conducted simultaneously it will be hassle-free for people and won’t become a roadblock for developmental initiatives.
