These visuals from Datia in MP have gone viral on social media Madhya Pradesh Home Minister, Dr Narottam Mishra can be seen being airlifted by an IAF helicopter Several villages in Datia district were marooned in water due to heavy rain and floods.

Receiving info about 9 civilians stranded on roof of a house in flood-hit Kotra, the minister reached there on an SDRF boat. However on his way, a tree fell on his boat, hindering its movement, causing Mishra to get marooned in flood waters

The Minister then sent an SOS call to government for help An IAF chopper was then dispatched to rescue the minister and nine other stranded villagers.
