Vaccination of teachers is a not a roadblock for reopening schools in Odisha. This information was given by Odisha School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Thursday (July 22).
The Minister stated that even though most teachers are already vaccinated, their department has requested the Health dept to ensure vaccination of the ones who have not taken the vaccine yet.
Meanwhile, the minister also added that the released SOP for school reopening has not mentioned a vaccination mandate for teachers and staff who are set to join back.
