Exams in Law colleges affiliated to Utkal University in Odisha will be held in online mode.
The Utkal University exam controller Sarat Majhi informed the same on Wednesday. The decision of the university authorities comes after protests by the law students demanding online examination. As per reports, the examination of third and seventh semester will begin from 3rd September while the first and fifth semester exams will begin from 13th September. The eighth, ninth and tenth semester exams will be conducted after the Puja vacations.
Earlier, law students studying in various law colleges affiliated to the University had gheraoed the office of Vice-Chancellor protesting against decision to conduct exams in a span of just 6 months.
