The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a notification with regard to the rescheduling of examination dates of UGC – NET (University Grants Commission- National Eligibility Test) December 2020 and June 2021 cycles.
The examination was earlier scheduled from October 6 to October 11, 2021. As per the latest notification issued on Friday (September 3), the exams have been rescheduled and will now be conducted from October 6 (Wednesday) till October 8 (Friday) and again from October 17 (Sunday) till October 19 (Tuesday) this year.
The NTA informed about realising from the student community that the date of exam on October 10 was clashing with some other major examination scheduled for that particular day.
Therefore, keeping in mind the interests of students, for larger participation of students in examination and to remove hardships, the NTA decided to reschedule the examination dates.
The exam conducting body further informed that it will provide the detailed date sheet of the examination in subsequent time. NTA has also advised students to keep visiting the official website of NTA (ugcnet.nta.nic.in) and (www.nta.ac.in) for all the latest updates.
