Needless to say, the Kapil Sharma show was once the most watched entertainment show on TV when all was well between host Kapil and former TKSS colleague actor-comedian, Sunil Grover aka Dr Mashoor Gulati. With time, the scars of the mid-air fight have also been washed off but Mashoor Gulati is still to return to the show.
And TKSS slowly slipping in the TRP chart is a glaring evidence that fans are missing the characters of Gutthi and Gulati. Krushna Abhishek as Sapna has been a part of the show for quite long.
His former partner in ‘Comedy Circus’ Sudesh Lahri, was the new entrant on TKSS new season that kicked off last month. Even Rochelle Rao, who played the role of nurse Lottery working under Dr Mashoor Gulati, is back on the show to entertain fans.
But is there a chance of fans-favourite Gulati returning to the show? In a recent interview (with Koimoi), Rochelle Rao opened up on her co-star Dr Mashoor Gulati and the bond she shares with him. Rochelle said she has been in touch with Sunil Grover just like with any one of her other co-actors or general friends in the industry.
She went on to say that she has always wished him well. Expressing that Sunil is doing some amazing work right now, Rochelle said both of them congratulate each other for the work they have been doing.
The big surprise that Rochelle revealed is that in this season Lottery’s role will be bigger and better. She said she wants to be a Vakeel (lawyer) and that she has found Kiku Sharda as the most amazing Vakeel in the show.
As far as Sunil Grover’s return is concerned, there is still no official confirmation. All fans have done and can do is wish the best for him in whatever he is doing right now.
