It is no secret that Govinda and his nephew Krushna Abhishek don't share a cordial relationship with each other.
However, things took an ugly turn after Krushna, who is seen on the popular reality talk-show on Sony TV, 'The Kapil Sharma Show' confirmed that he would be skipping the episode which will feature his uncle Govinda and aunt Sunita as celebrity guests.
In a recent interview with a national media portal (TOI), Sunita Ahuja blasted Krushna Abhishek after learning about refusing to be a part of the episode that featured her family and her as guests.
Sunita said, “Last year in November, Govinda had issued a statement clarifying his stand and vowing to never discuss family issues in public. Like a thorough gentleman, he has kept the promise. I reiterate that we want to maintain a dignified distance, but it has reached a point where I feel the need to address the issue."
Sunita elaborated that even though Govinda would never speak about the topic, it "upsets and infuriates" her. Sunita further said that whenever the couple appear on the show, Krushna would always use their name for publicity.
However, on Ganesh Chaturthi, reports surfaced that Krushna hopes for a truce with his family, stating "We love each other despite the internal issues. I pray that this also gets solved."
