IT major TCS is stepping up efforts to provide job opportunities to women who have seen a hiatus in their career and are looking for a restart. The tech giant has launched an initiative called REBEGIN, a major recruitment drive for women.
Under this initiative, the company is offering opportunities to women professionals who have a career gap, because of professional or personal reasons. The company has exhorted women professionals that it is never too late to reinvent oneself and they should #Rebegin with #TheBigMove to TCS.
The company said that talent and potential will always remain, and Rebegin is an opportunity for talented experienced women professionals to inspire, reinvent and challenge themselves to make a mark. The company urged women professionals to center stage, stand in the spotlight, and own presence as a change-maker partnering with TCS.
The company is reportedly offering opportunities pan India and it candidates with foundational skills can apply to develop these skills into specialised streams. With an aim to become a 1-million-employee-company, the IT major now has more than 5 lakh employees in its workforce after record hiring in the first quarter of FY22.
