Supreme Court will hear the plea seeking declaration of results of Class XII Private Patrachar and 2nd Compartment Students of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on September 3.
On Tuesday, the apex court adjourned the writ petition filed seeking declaration of CBSE Class XII Private Students by devising similar assessment criteria as regular CBSE students. As per reports, the plea also sought directions for change in date sheet of the Class XII of Private Patrachar and Compartment Students for avoiding clashing of the examination dates with other competitive or CET exams.
A writ petition was filed to seek directions to ensure that the colleges, universities and other educational institutions allow admissions of private students on a provisional basis despite delay in result declaration. To ensure timely and hassle-free admission of these CBSE private students, a decision on timely declaration of results is essential.
