A special Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (Special OJEE) will be conducted for students for enrollment into B.Tech courses of all government and private engineering colleges of Odisha. The process of online application for the exam began today (July 23) and will continue till August 10, 2021.
A notification was issued by the Chairman of OJEE on Thursday (July 22) stating that the special OJEE would be conducted for students to fill up the vacant seats left out after the first phase OJEE counseling. The exam is meant for only those students who have not appeared/and/or will not appear in the JEE –Main, 2021 examination for some reason or the other.
The deadline for payment of fees has been fixed till midnight of August 12. The notification further mentioned that detailed instructions for online application will be as per the information brochure available on their website. The syllabus for the examination will be as per the JEE –Main, 2021.
Additionally, the detailed schedule with dates of the exam and download of the Admit Cards will be notified in due course of time keeping in mind the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
