Shilpa Shetty and her family have been going through a hard phase after the actress's husband, businessman Raj Kundra was arrested by the police over his alleged involvement in a porn racket.
However, a source close to Shilpa revealed to a national portal (India.com), that Shilpa plans to separate herself from her husband's wealth and assets. In the interview, Shilpa's friend stated that Raj's troubles will not be going away any time soon. Rather they seem to be multiplying every week.
The source stated "Raj's alleged link with adult content came as much a shock to Shilpa as to the rest of us" and that "Shilpa had no clue that the diamonds and duplex were coming from nefarious resources.
" Shilpa's friend further said that Shilpa wished to separate her children from their father's wealth and that Shilpa won't be touching a penny from Raj's assets. The source stated that Shilpa is independent and makes enough by judging 'Super Dancer 4' as a reality show judge.
Further "Shilpa has let it be known in the film industry that she is looking at more film roles after Hungama 2 and the unreleased Nikamma", the source revealed. On the work front, Shilpa who was away from the limelight due to her husband's case, recently returned back on the sets of 'Super dancer 4' where she was given a heart-warming welcome that had made her emotional.
