The rescheduled JEE (Advanced) 2021 examination for admission into the IITs will be conducted on October 3rd this year. Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan announced the dates on Monday. Announcing the dates on Twitter, the Union Minister said the JEE (Advanced) 2021 examination for admission in IITs will be held on the 3rd October, 2021.
Moreover, the examination will be conducted adhering to all Covid-protocols, Pradhan tweeted. It must be noted that the JEE (Advanced) 2021 was earlier scheduled to be held on July 3. However, the exam was postponed in view of the COVID-19 situation. For the current year, the exam is being conducted by IIT-Kharagpur.
The JEE (Advanced) 2021 is the qualifying exam for students seeking entry into prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Moreover, the JEE Advanced is conducted following the JEE Mains which is considered as a qualifying test for the former. JEE Mains is conducted for admissions into engineering colleges.
