Quarantine Centre Inmate Goes Missing In Odisha, Police Complaint Lodged

Triggering concerns, an inmate of a COVID19 quarantine centre in Odisha has gone missing. The inmate reportedly went missing from Luhagudi quarantine center in Mohana block of Gajapati district. The missing person has been identified as Narendra Bisoi of Ghasapada village of Damadua Panchayat. As per reports, he had arrived from Andhra Pradesh on May 9 and was staying at the quarantine center. However, he is missing since Tuesday (May 11) triggering panic in the area. While the cause behind his disappearance unknown, the administration has assured to trace the inmate as soon as possible. Mohana Block Development Officer (BDO) reached the quarantine centre on Thursday and a complaint has been filed with police.
