Over 100 Children getting infected, but we are prepared: Odisha Health Official

Special beds have been arranged for children in preparation for the possible third wave of Covid-19 in the state. This information was shared by the Odisha Health Services Director, Bijay Mohapatra on Thursday (Aug 19). Mohapatra informed that even though the infection among children is high, the same trend was also observed in the first and second waves.

However, as national and international health experts have opined that children might get more infected in the third wave, special precautions are being taken. Accordingly, the state government has made arrangements for children in Odisha, the top health official said.
