In a move that will bolster healthcare during the pandemic, the Medical Officer exam result was published in record time by the Odisha Public Service Commission. As per the commission, the result of the medical officer exam was published in just 15-Days amid the COVID-19 crisis. In an official notification, the commission said that at least 786 Medical Officers have been recommended for government service. While the state-level exam was conducted on April 28 with 1491 candidates appearing in the exam, the results were published on Wednesday (May 12). Candidates can visit www.opsc.gov.in to check the results. According to the OPSC, a decision was taken to conduct computer-based exam to reduce the duration of the process. Moreover, the commission believes that this exam sets a new benchmark of speed and accuracy in conducting future recruitment test.
