Higher Secondary Schools and institutions across Odisha started the first phase of Plus II admission for 2021-22 academic session on Tuesday. On Monday, the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) released the first cut-off list for students seeking admission into various streams.
The institutions are carrying out online as well as offline admissions following all Covid-19 norms. The first phase of admission will be carried out till Sept 21 and around 3, 86, 464 candidates were shortlisted in the first cut-off list.
As per the notification issued by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), guardians/parents of shortlisted candidates can also be present during the admission if the candidates are unable to reach the spot.
For the current academic year (2021-22),Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School in Cuttack has emerged as the most sought after institution. In the first phase, Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School has seen the highest cut-offs in all three streams.
The second merit list will be announced on September 27 and the admission for the same will take place between September 29 and October 1.
The spot-selection list will be released on October 4 following which the selected candidates can register themselves for admission by October 5. The spot admission will be conducted on October 7.
