Odisha Minister Clarifies On UG, PG Exams; Says Decision Only After Meeting Vice Chancellors

Amid uncertainty over the conduct of examinations for under-graduate (UG) and post-graduate (PG) students, Odisha Higher Education Minister, Arun Sahoo has said that a final decision in this regard is likely to be taken very soon.

Amid uncertainty over the conduct of examinations for under-graduate (UG) and post-graduate (PG) students, Odisha Higher Education Minister, Arun Sahoo has said that a final decision in this regard is likely to be taken very soon.

On Tuesday (June 8), the Minister said that a high-level meeting will be held with all Vice-Chancellors on June 12th, to arrive at a decision for the conduct of exams. Arun Sahoo stated that a decision regarding the same would be taken only after consulting the Vice Chancellors of various colleges and universities in the state.

Odisha Higher Education Minister, Arun Sahoo said, On 12th of this month, we have fixed a meeting with all the Vice Chancellors of Colleges and Universities. First we would take the opinion of the Vice Chancellors, and convey whatever decision is taken.

After that we will hold discussions with the Principals of various Government colleges and Autonomous colleges. We would take a decision only after having an in-depth discussion.
