IMD Issues Thunderstorm & Lightning Warning For Next Few Days
In the last two days, rainfall activity was seen in very few places due to weakened monsoon. However, for the next few days the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for several districts of the state for lightning and thunderstorms.
As per the IMD’s data, the cyclonic circulation over south Bangladesh and adjoining northeast Bay of Bengal is still prevalent. As far as the forecast for the capital city of Bhubaneswar is concerned, it will witness cloudy sky with possibility of development of thunder or lightning. The city's maximum temperature is likely to be around 35 degree Celsius.
