Odisha government has announced graded unlocking from July 1st across the state. Odisha Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra on Wednesday informed in a press meet that partial lockdown will continue till July 16 and unlocking will be implemented in a graded manner. According to the Chief Secretary, at least 20 districts with Test Positivity Rate (TPR) below 5% have been added into Category A while the remaining districts with TPR greater than 5% were put into Category B. All shops will remain open in Category A districts across the state from 6 AM to 6 PM on all days, while all shops will remain open in Category B districts from 6 AM to 2 PM on weekdays. However, the shops selling essential good will remain open after 2 PM on weekdays in Category B districts. Moreover, weekend shutdown has been lifted from the Category A districts, while it will continue to remain in force in Category B districts starting from 2 PM of Friday till 6 AM of Monday. Night curfew will remain in force across the state from 6 PM till 6 AM every day.
