Odisha COVID19 Update: State Reports 33 Deaths In 24 Hours

As many as 33 people in the state succumbed to Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. Taking to twitter, the Odisha Health Department shared the details of the deceased. Earlier during the day, Odisha recorded a total of 7216 fresh positive cases in the past 24 hours. As many as 33 people succumbed to Covid-19 in Odisha on May 28th.

The Odisha Health Department shared the details of the deceased on Twitter. As many as 4 individuals in their 20s lost their life to Covid. The Health Department also stated that some deceased were suffering from hyperthyroidism, hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus and Chronic Renal Failure.

The Director of Health Services had said that the number of seriously ill patients is high which could keep the fatalities high. Earlier during the day, Odisha recorded a total of 7216 fresh positive cases in the past 24 hours The addition of the fresh numbers took the total cases to 739955. Out of the fresh cases, 4,041 were from quarantine while 3,175 were local contact cases.
