Odisha: BSE Clarifies On Evaluation Criteria For Class 10 Matric Results
Ramashis Hazra, the president of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), today cleared the air on the assessment criteria adopted this year for the Class 10 Board results. He has clarified that the marking scheme was prepared after careful discussions with various academicians and educationists, and the entire process was available on the website. Hazra said that the marks allotted to the students were based on the alternative assessment criteria of the board, and evaluation was on the basis of performance of students in the last 4 academic years. Moderation in marks was done as per the clauses mentioned in the assessment criteria, the BSE president said.
