In an inspiring achievement, Odisha’s Prativa Mohapatra became the first woman to appointed as Vice President and Managing Director of Adobe India. In this role, Mohapatra will lead Adobe's India business across Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Document Cloud.
With a career spanning over 25 years in the technology industry, she has already worked for IT giants like IBM. Prior to joining Adobe, she was with IBM, where she served as Vice President of Digital Sales for APAC. She also led sales for IBM India and South Asia. Commenting on her new appointment, Mohapatra said that Adobe is uniquely positioned as an enabler for everyone - students, creative artists, small businesses, government agencies and she is thrilled to join the world class team at Adobe India. Mohapatra completed her BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Regional Engineering College (now NIT) Rourkela. She did her post-graduation in management from Xavier Institute of Management in Bhubaneswar with Systems and Finance specialisation
