There will be no dearth of seats in Plus-II colleges in the state. Odisha School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash on Monday (June 28) assured that seats would be increased if there is any such requirement. Responding to students’ queries regarding shortage of seats, Dash said that in case situation demands increase of seats, the department and state government will ensure the same. Citing example of previous academic sessions, the Minister clarified that seats can be increased in various educational institutions even by up to 20 percent. The minister assured that students will not face any problem during admission. As far as Plus-2 results are concerned, Dash said that the department is planning to announce the results by July 31 as per the direction of the Supreme Court.
