With massive protests erupting in Odisha allegedly over faulty evaluation of Class 10 matric results, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) in a press meet on Tuesday (June 29) clarified that students dissatisfied with their marks can apply for offline exams.
President of the Board, Ramashis Hazra informed that the application process for offline exams would begin from July 5. He said students will be given 10 days time to fill up forms, and then accordingly, exams will be conducted as per the prevailing Covid-19 situation.
Though dates are yet to be confirmed, Hazra hinted that the Board may conduct the offline exams in July. In all this process, the idea of the Board is the sooner the exams are conducted, the faster the Board would be able to publish the results, which would ensure that students do not face any difficulty while applying in Plus-II colleges.
